Refund & Returns Policy

At Mitendi, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you're not happy with your order, we're here to help.

1. Return Eligibility

You may return most items within 30 days of receiving your order for a refund or exchange, provided they meet the following conditions:

Eligible Items

  • Items must be unused, unworn, and in the same condition as received
  • Items must be in their original packaging with all tags attached
  • Items must include all accessories, manuals, and documentation
  • Proof of purchase (order number or receipt) must be provided

Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene and safety reasons, the following items cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Wigs, hair extensions, and hairpieces that have been worn, styled, or altered
  • Items marked as "Final Sale" or "Non-Returnable"
  • Custom or personalized items
  • Items damaged due to misuse or improper care
  • Items without original packaging or tags
  • Gift cards

2. How to Initiate a Return

To start a return, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us: Email us at info.mitendistores@gmail.com or call 07359 997390 with your order number and reason for return
  2. Receive Authorization: We will provide you with a Return Authorization (RA) number and return instructions
  3. Package Your Return: Securely pack the item(s) in the original packaging with the RA number clearly marked
  4. Ship Your Return: Send the package to the address provided in your return authorization

Important: Do not send items back without first obtaining a Return Authorization number. Unauthorized returns may not be processed.

3. Return Shipping Costs

UK Returns

  • Defective or Incorrect Items: We will provide a prepaid return label at no cost to you
  • Change of Mind: Customer is responsible for return shipping costs

International Returns

  • Customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or incorrect
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping service
  • Customers are responsible for any customs duties or taxes incurred during the return process

Note: We are not responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipping. We recommend purchasing shipping insurance for high-value returns.

4. Refund Processing

Inspection Period

Once we receive your return, we will inspect the item(s) within 3-5 business days to ensure they meet our return eligibility criteria.

Refund Timeline

If your return is approved:

  • Refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5-7 business days after approval
  • Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take an additional 3-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account
  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable (unless the return is due to our error)

Partial Refunds

In some cases, only partial refunds may be granted:

  • Items showing signs of use or wear
  • Items missing original packaging or tags
  • Items returned more than 30 days after delivery

5. Exchanges

If you need to exchange an item for a different size, color, or style:

  1. Follow the return process outlined above
  2. Indicate in your return request that you would like an exchange
  3. Once we receive and approve your return, we will ship the replacement item

Note: Exchanges are subject to product availability. If the desired item is out of stock, we will issue a refund instead.

6. Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective item:

  • Contact us within 7 days of receiving your order
  • Provide photos of the damage or defect
  • We will arrange for a replacement or full refund, including return shipping costs

7. Wrong Item Received

If you receive the wrong item:

  • Contact us immediately at info.mitendistores@gmail.com
  • We will arrange for the correct item to be sent and provide a prepaid return label for the incorrect item

8. Cancellations

Before Shipment

You may cancel your order before it ships by contacting us immediately. If your order has already been processed for shipment, it cannot be cancelled and must be returned following our standard return process.

After Shipment

Once an order has shipped, it cannot be cancelled. You may refuse delivery or return the item(s) following our return policy.
